Final blog in this topic series.
It does seem that you have brought this home and we do seem to remain in our spaces where our limited sphere of knowledge and control protects what we have and need and who we most care about.
The vastness of the universe may be just that - too great and outside our realm of understanding. Certainly mine.
I even find it difficult to ponder species that I come into daily contact with that have much more complex vision and other sensory systems. I appreciate them and will live in contentment with them as I tend my garden and my sick cat whose curiosity may have gotten the best of him, just for today I hope.
Love your blogs!
Thanks for the thoughts, and I agree that our planet has so many fantastic species to appreciate. It makes me wonder what it is that drives us to ignore what is literally underfoot and instead focus on what might be out there in forbidding regions of space--at least, some of us, right? Probably somewhere in the genes, as most things are, directly or indirectly.
