Control means life. Without it, life could never have arisen nor could it continue. This is true for all living beings, whether microscopic or human, and the complexity of each life form determines its behavior. What is shared among all species, and what is different, is our focus here – particularly from the human point of view. What is it that guides our behavior and the consequences of that behavior?
